The album was inspired by a Rome bridge and produced for an art installation

Donato Dozzy is set to release an album through Lorenzo Senni's Presto!? label. You can hear a track lifted from it, '12H.3', below.

Titled 12H, the two-hour, 12-track album is pulled together from music produced by Dozzy for the Music Bridge in Rome. The original installation totalled 12 hours and was made as a 24-channel piece taking in synths, field recordings from areas surrounding the bridge and other sounds in order to run as a soundtrack to a listener's crossing of the bridge which spans the Tiber River.

12H is Dozzy's first release for Presto!? and is due out on October 25. The label will precede it with a reissue of Curtis Roads' 2005 album Point Line Cloud on October 4. Find more information on that release here. Presto!? founder Senni will also curate a Positive Feedback event, presented by promoter Threes, in Milan on October 4 with sets from Dozzy, Senni himself, Curtis Roads, Florian Hecker and Ewa Justka all lined up amongst others. Find out more about that here.
