This Friday sees the release of the self-titled debut album from The Utopia Strong, a new band taking in Steve Davis, Knifeworld’s Kavus Torabi and Michael J. York.
We premiered the lead track from that album, ‘Brainsurgeons 3’, back in June on the site, and now, just ahead of the trio’s first album release, above you can watch their full set from last month’s Supernormal festival in Oxfordshire. The 35-minute set sees the trio playing music lifted from that album.
The set was captured by IMPATV, who were on hand across the weekend to film highlights which have so far included Lia Mice, Cucina Povera and Zu. There are more to come over the course of the next month.
