Ben Frost has shared two tracks from his forthcoming score for the second series of Netflix show Dark. You can hear ‘Folge Dem Signal’ and ‘Du Bist Ein So Guter Mensch’ above.
The second series of the German supernatural series sees Frost reprise his role of providing the score as on the first. This second run will be split across eight hour-long episodes and, a press release explains, will continue "the story of four families and their attempts to change their fate within their tightly knit community".
Frost’s soundtrack takes in 13 tracks which will be released digitally tomorrow (August 16) through Invada Records and Lakeshore Records – both labels released the score for the first series earlier this summer. Vinyl and CD versions of Frost’s new score will follow later.
Ben Frost previously spoke to tQ about providing music for the series, saying that he "never imagined [he]’d have the opportunity to write for this type of long form story-telling but [he’s] very grateful for it." You can read that full interview here.
