Black Country, New Road have shared a new track, titled ‘Sunglasses’. You can hear it above.
The track is the first to be unveiled by the band since their Speedy Wunderground-released debut single, ‘Athen’s, France’, which the band put out earlier this year.
"It describes a series of events, loosely connected, all yet to happen," says frontman Isaac Wood of the new track. "The song was intended to be highly inspirational. The lyrics are sometimes concerned with symbols of wealth or affluence but they are not written from a critical or even external position."
500 copies of the single will be pressed to 7", each copy a unique product, with different Polaroid images on each cover taken by the band, and made available through Blank Editions on September 6. It will also be released digitally tomorrow (July 26) via BC,NR / Speedy Wunderground. You can pre-order the physical release here.
