Christian Eede , July 10th, 2019 16:18

The station will be broadcasting over DAB airwaves from next week

Bristol's key radio station Noods Radio will be available to Bristol listeners on the DAB airwaves from July 15.

The move means that fans of the station will be able to listen in even more easily to the hundreds of residents that hold shows on the station including Hessle Audio's Bruce and Blackest Ever Black affiliate Ossia. The station was previously only available to listen to online.

To celebrate the launch on DAB, Noods has invited a number of special guest selectors to host shows, including Peder Mannerfelt, the 12th Isle crew, Amsterdam's Izabel and Pessimist.

"We're REALLY excited by the prospect of becoming a terrestrial station," says Leon from the team at the station. "The opportunity for someone to stumble across the station or just tune in easily in the car is something that we've always dreamed about and it's just mad to know that people will be able to do it from next week."
