Sähkö Recordings, the label co-founded by the late Mika Vainio, will next month launch an archive series dedicated to works by the musician.
The first release is made up of excerpts of a 1994 live set that Vainio played under Ø alias, and it’s due out on June 7 to launch the ARC series. The Ø recordings featured on ARC 1 were originally broadcast on Ambient City, which was a radio show run by fellow Sähkö founder Tommi Grönlund.
Sähkö will release ARC 1 digitally and on vinyl. You can pre-order it and check out clips of the release ahead of its release next month here.
