King Midas Sound, Lady Leshurr and Saul Williams make up part of Bradford Literature Festival's music showcase this summer

Bradford Literature Festival will this year invite King Midas Sound, Lady Leshurr and Saul Williams to play live at the city's newly renovated St. George's Hall.

The three acts will play as part of the festival's flagship music showcase across one night on July 5, with the three presenting their varying forms of lyricism in line with the event's focus.

Lady Leshurr's performance will take in music from across a number of mixtapes as well as her Queen's Speech series of freestyles, while Saul Williams will bring with him more than two decades spent fusing rap and slam poetry in his output. King Midas Sound will be playing off the back of their album Solitude which was released on Valentine's Day of this year.

Bradford Literature Festival runs an ethical pricing policy, offering free tickets to those on benefits or living in social housing, as well as to asylum seekers and refugees. Concessions are also available to students and senior citizens. You can find tickets, and full information on this event, here.

The festival itself will run from June 28 - July 7. Find more information on its programme, which will take in more than 500 artists across more than 400 events, head here.
