Hey Colossus have confirmed details of a new album, titled Four Bibles. Above, you can check a video for lead track ‘Memory Gore’, which we’ll warn does feature some flashing lights.
Four Bibles is Hey Colossus’ 12th album and their first for Helm’s label Alter. It’s a connection that goes back to the band’s formation in 2003 though, with Helm being present at their first gig that year. The band have also enlisted Grumbling Fur’s Daniel O’Sullivan to contribute violin to some tracks on the album.
The album also sees the group shift their line-up slightly, with lead vocalist Paul Sykes still heading up the ranks. There is a book release to coincide with the album which has been written by bass player (and founding member) Joe Thompson. The book is part of a new series called Sleevenotes by Pomona Publishing and the first four are out this year. Full details on that will be revealed in due course.
Four Bibles is out on May 17. The band will tour Europe and the UK through May, June and July. You can find a list of their UK dates below.
