Sunn O)) have announced plans to first release their new album, Life Metal, as part of Record Store Day on April 13.

The album will be available on CD and vinyl in select record shops participating in Record Store Day around the UK, Europe and the US. Life Metal's release for RSD on April 13 will come ahead of physical formats of the album being available to purchase through the Southern Lord online store on April 19 and its official release on all formats a week later.

Life Metal is Sunn O)))'s first studio album in four years, and sees them team up with Steve Albini to share production duties. You can find more information on the album, and check a pre-release trailer, here.

Sunn O))) will host two special free-to-attend pre-release listening events in Paris (at Gaîte Lyrique on March 31) and London (at The Institute Of Light on April 9). Reserve a ticket for those here and here.
