12 years on from its original release, Jonny Greenwood’s soundtrack to Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood is to be pressed to vinyl for the first time.
Due via Nonesuch Records in January, the pressing will come with bonus tracks ‘Proven Lands (Intro.)’ and ‘De-Tuned Quartet’, and was remastered for the new release at Abbey Road Studios. It was the first of a number of soundtrack works that Greenwood provided for Thomas Anderson’s films with The Master, Inherent Vice and Phantom Thread all following in the years since.
