Lee Gamble's next album will come in three parts
Lee Gamble is to release a new album on Hyperdub next year. You can check a video for one of the tracks - 'Many Gods Many Angels' - above.
Titled Flush Real Pharynx, the album will arrive in three parts. The first, titled In A Paraventral Scale, is made up of seven tracks and due for release on February 1.
The first part of the series is described as focusing "on the seductive/destructive nature of present-day reality through a symbolic prism inhabited by snakes, vehicles and mirages."
The album loosely explores the three stages of the Semioblitz, explained, as a press release puts it, as the "aggressive onslaught of visual and sonic stimuli of contemporary cities and virtual spaces."
The new album will also be accompanied by a new audiovisual live show next year. Further volumes of the LP will be announced in 2019.
