Planningtorock collaborates with The Knife's Olof Dreijer on new track

Next month, Planningtorock will release fourth album, titled Powerhouse. Ahead of its release, above, you can check out a new video for the track 'Much To Touch' which features on the album.

The track sees the producer, otherwise known as Jam Rostron, team up with Olof Dreijer, formerly of The Knife, who contributes flute. The video meanwhile centres around Finnish dancer Maija Karhunen with whom Rostron has been collaborating on duets pairing dance and the new music from the album. That live show will premiere at Berlin's Berghain on January 16 and 17.

Powerhouse itself was recorded between Los Angeles, New York, London and Berlin - the latter city is where Rostron now calls home. The album tackles subjects such as gender and class identity, while Rostron has also dedicated a number of the tracks to different family members.

Powerhouse is the first Planningtorock album since 2014's All Love Is Legal and sees Rostron return to DFA after 2011's W. The album is due out on November 9 and can be pre-ordered here.
