Radiophonic Workshop Announce Film Soundtrack

The Radiophonic Workshop's first soundtrack for a film is set to feature unreleased material by Delia Derbyshire

The Radiophonic Workshop have announced their first soundtrack for a film, Matthew Holness' Possum.

The soundtrack includes remastered, previously unreleased material from Delia Derbyshire's extensive archives. The material in question was discovered amongst boxes of tapes in the late composer and former Radiophonic Workshop member's attic. The group have used some of this material alongside their own additional elements.

Possum is writer and actor Matthew Holness' directorial debut. It's out in cinemas on October 26 while the Radiophonic Workshop's soundtrack will be available on digital and CD formats from November 30. A vinyl release is planned for 2019.
