Galaxian - Paradise Engineering
I released it on my own label, and it sounds to me a bit like a mixture between DJ Stingray, some Detroit electro and Aphex Twin. I've never ever heard anything like it. It's not like it's a new genre or anything, but he's got something going on there that is very unique. The releases I put out have to have something unique about them, though it's really difficult to say what that is. So Galaxian sent over some tracks and I was just like, 'Of course. I've gotta release this. It's so good'. I'm not just saying this because it's on my own label but I think it's probably one of the best releases in the past five years.
