Boiler Room and Genelec have linked up to celebrate the Finnish speaker company’s 40th anniversary by producing a series of short films looking at the science of sound with the likes of Lorenzo Senni, Peder Mannerfelt, Rian Treanor and Not Waving all featuring.
Above is a video from Italian producer and sound designer Caterina Barbieri who demonstrates the science of reverb, producing an original piece in the process using the sound tool.
Lorenzo Senni and Not Waving demonstrate the science of distortion and delay in their respective videos, with all three clips being inspired by warped cult cinema and experimental motion graphics.
