WATCH: New Mammút Video

Iceland's Mammút share the video for the title track for their 2017 album

Mammút have shared a new video for their track ‘Kinder Version’, the title track from their 2017 album released via Bella Union. You can watch the video above.

The potentially NSFW video is directed by Viðar Logi, and follows three characters moving through various forms of choreography. "The inspiration behind this film is the different layers of a person, each scene represents one," says Logi. "The inside, the middle and the outside. How they connect, progress and expand. The lady is the inside, the spiritual side of a person. The middle is the blood scene, emotions and suffering. The hats is the outside, man amongst men and the animalistic side of a person."

Mammút’s Ása Dýradóttir said, speaking about the video: "We first crossed paths with Viðar Logi on a photoshoot where we wanted to steer clear of the awkward/cool-looking band photo and dive more towards the abstract and fine arts. The flow and results were so great that we took the collaboration to the next level and made a video."

Mammút will play London’s Camden Assembly on July 18 before an appearance at Larmer Tree Gardens Festival in Dorset on July 20. Tickets for the London show can be found here. The album, Kinder Versions, is out now.
