Nile Rodgers & Chic have announced details of their first new album in 26 years, aptly titled It's About Time.

The album is Rodgers' first with Chic since 1992's Chic-ism, and is set to feature a wide cast of collaborators including Stefflon Don, Danny L Harle, Craig David, Nao and Anderson .Paak. "I've had the great privilege of producing some of the greatest artists in the world, so when it came time to collaborating for my own record the barometer was, shall we say, pretty high," Rodgers says.

It's About Time is due out on September 7.
