A six-part radio series set to air on NTS will see Jeff Mills and NASA join forces

London-based online radio station NTS has announced details of a new radio series put together in collaboration by Jeff Mills and NASA.

The show, called 'Jeff Mills: The Outer Limits', will air across six parts. It will feature new and unreleased music by Mills and guest musicians, set against a space-themed script, exploring astrophysics and science fiction, written by the producer and NASA.

The first episode, which delves into the idea of the 'black hole', will air on Wednesday (January 17) at 2pm GMT, with each show set to be archived on the NTS website after it airs. This week's episode will feature music by Mills as well as American pianist Kathleen Supové and British violinist Thomas Gould. The remaining episodes will air over the course of this year.

"'The Outer Limits', titled after a science fiction US TV series in the 1960s, is yet another opportunity for me to explore the unknown through music and fantastical storytelling," says Mills. "The aim of this radio program is to deliver wild experiences, first and foremost. This is something that I believe each and every one of us needs more of."
