Liverpool's greatest new addition to the festival circuit is back, with Damo Suzuki, Future Of The Left, Sex Swing and More

In the already saturated Liverpool festival circuit, in 2017 one new addition set itself apart.

That addition was WRONG Festival, organised by local record label Loner Noise, who billed it as a 'festival for the freak scene'.

The independent venture's inaugral outing was described by tQ as 'a titanic success', and its with great delight that we can exclusively reveal the first round of names for the second edition, which takes place on April 28, 2018.

Leading the way this year is Future of the Left, as well as the mighty Damo Suzuki. The former Can man will be performing his acclaimed, overwhelming 'Damo Suzuki's Network' show.

Elsewhere a host of tQ favourites including Sex Swing, Hey Colossus and Mugstar will be performing, as will Hark, Kagoule, Alpha Male Tea Party, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Milo's Planes, Grey Hairs and more.

Organiser Michael Edward of Loner Noise said: "I think the success of last year can be summed up for me by a question that Dobbs from The Hyena Kill asked me just after their set: ‘Is this the best thing you've ever done?’ The answer was a resounding yes.

"It still feels crazy that it was such a success, and having seen weirder underground music start to get some more recognition in Liverpool has been a wonderful reward. This year we're building on that foundation and bringing some real legends to Liverpool. I want this kind of music to become part of the city's identity."
