Vivienne is the moniker of Evelyn Privitera, currently a first year fine art student at London’s Goldsmiths University.
Stud marks Vivienne’s debut release, but it’s an album he has been working on since the age of 17. It will be released via Objects Limited, the label ran by Lara Rix-Martin focusing on female and non-binary identifying producers and musicians. Above, you can watch a video for album track ‘Johan’
The release was signed shortly after Privitera took part in an Objects Limited workshop, beginning to send demos to the label soon after this initial meeting.
"Stud is emotional longing and apathy and hatred disgustingly writhing alongside a sexuality that relies entirely on traumatic experience and feeds on dangerous situations and bodily functions," says Vivienne of his debut album. The album’s lyrics focus on the various complex emotions experienced by a focus as they discover and explore their sexuality and identity.
