Magma have announced a 3LP retrospective collection taking in all three volumes of their Retrospektïw releases from 1980.

The first decade of the French band was celebrated across three evenings in June of 1980 at Paris' Olympia Theatre, with the recordings from those nights going into the releases of Retrospektïw 1 / 2 and Retrospektïw 3. Those performances reunited most of the musicians who had performed in the group during their first decade.

Southern Lord will release the updated 3LP set on November 24 in an edition of 1500 hand-numbered copies, featuring remastering of all the material as well as original artwork. In addition to the new release, Magma will perform at Southern Lord's label showcase at Amsterdam's Melkweg on October 29, alongside SUNN O))), Unsane, Circle and more.
