The Delta Sisters – Music From The Old Timey Hotel
I put this on when I move into a new house and it feels like home. I've renovated six houses so I know what I'm talking about! The Delta Sisters are Jeanie McLerie and Frannie Leopold, friends of the family. They're Cajun musicians, and Cajun is such infectious, joyous music. [sings] "Did you see that traiiiiin?" They used to come round the house when they'd be over in the UK. Jeannie's husband Ken's got a ZZ Top beard. When the lads were little, he used to flick it over the top of his head and put his glasses back on. They loved that!
