The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu Confirm More Plans

'Liverpool: Welcome To The Dark Ages' will take place across three days in the city

The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu have confirmed further details for their plans in 2017, saying that on August 23 they will have completed their The Twenty Three Year Moratorium.

They say that they will be marking this moratorium firstly with the publication of their 2023 novel which will be issued by Faber & Faber on August 23.

Secondly, they will mark the milestone with an event across three days in Liverpool called ‘Liverpool: Welcome To The Dark Ages’. It will take place from August 23-25, and each day has a different title. On August 23, they will explore the question "Why Did The K Foundation Burn A Million Quid?" The second day is themed around the question "2023: What The Fuuk Is Going On?" Finally, the third day explores The Rites of MuMufication.

They say that there will be only 400 tickets available for the event and there will be no guest lists or press passes. "Every one of the 400 ticket holders will be expected to be Volunteers," a statement adds, finishing with a warning that "The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu in any of their various past, present or future guises will not be performing music".

Tickets go on sale for the event at 11.23am on July 23. For more information, head here.
