Isaac Hayes – Hot Buttered Soul
I love that you can slow things down and still get plenty of energy out of it. Music doesn't have to be bombastic all the time. But when you slow things down you get this whole, new elasticated tempo. It's so alien to the way you listen to music but Isaac Hayes is so good at it. It's fascinating.

And the idea behind this is such an ambitious concept. It sounds like a soundtrack. Lots of people do fake soundtracks now but then this was an incredible idea and it sounds like it's in Cinemascope. It swirls and it has a heavy mood to it.
