Returning to the south of The Netherlands earlier this month for its fifth edition, Best Kept Secret boasted a line-up big hitters such as Radiohead, Arcade Fire and Run The Jewels, sitting alongside the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Arab Strap, Thundercat, Jenny Hval and plenty more.
They all played across three days at the festival’s safari park surroundings of Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek. The festival says that "we program artists we – as fans of music – would like to see live, preferably in front of a larger audience than the artists are used to", with acts of varying sizes and stature playing across the five on-site stages, the two main stages scheduled so as not to overlap and give attendees a less stress-filled experience while trying to catch their favourite acts.
We sent our photographer, Jan Rijk whose work you can check out here, along to capture the festival’s settings, and, importantly, some of the best sets from across the weekend and you can check out the results in our gallery below.
