Housewives will release FF 061116 the follow up to their staggering debut LP Work on Rocket Recordings on 18 August.

The first track to be released from the album, the sparse, fierce 'Excerpt 6', is streaming exclusively with tQ above.

It's the final piece of the LP, which is split into six excerpts, and makes use of potent repetition to explore realms of post-punk, jazz, drone, electronic and the avant-garde.

It's the group's first release for Rocket, having previously put material out via Hands In The Dark, Faux Discs and Blank Editions.
