King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have released a 13-minute film to accompany their forthcoming album Murder of the Universe. You can watch 'The Lord of Lightning vs Balrog' above.

'The Lord of Lighting vs Balrog' is the second of three "chapters" within the 21-track record. The band previously unveiled another 13-minute film for the third "chapter," 'Han-Tyumi and the Murder of the Universe'. The films are directed by Jason Galea and Ben Jones.

Murder of the Universe is the second of five albums the band are due to release this year.

"We've always thought of our albums as portals through which you can move from one to the other," said frontman Stu Mackenzie. "Or maybe each album is a bridge to the next part of the story."
