OMD will release their new album The Punishment Of Luxury on 1 September. You can get the first taste of the new album, an animated video for the instrumental ‘La Mitrailleuse’ above.
The self-produced album is their first since 2013’s English Electric. Speaking about the release, the band’s Andy McCluskey said: "On this album we have managed to make beautiful things out of noises and repetitive patterns. The trouble is, we just cant help but write a catchy melody!"
The band have also announced details of a comprehensive UK tour throughout October and November. You can get tickets and see all the dates here.
