Insanlar and a new project from Rabih Beaini join the bill for the second edition of Outernational Days this July

Following last month's initial Outernational Days announcement, more names have now been added to the bill with a new project from Rabih Beaini among them.

Beaini will present Everything Visible Is Empty, alongside Raed Yassin, Mazen Kerbaj, Diana Miron and Bogdana Dima, at what will be the festival's second edition, taking place in Bucharest. Also added are Insanlar, Babau, Khidja, Doug Shipton, Circuit Diagram featuring Derya Yıldırım, Görkem Şen presents Yaybahar, Ogoya Nengo & The Dodo Women's Group, Mircea Florian, Shamanelism, Seltene Erden, Social Insects, Stefan Fraunberger, Praed, Kӣr and Florin Salam.

They all join the previously announced likes of Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force, Traxx, Vladimir Ivkovic, Toresch, Les Filles de Illighadad and Massicot at the festival, with the lineup bringing together acts from across the world, including local Romanian talent. More names will be announced in the coming months.

Festival organiser Dragoș Rusu, whose The Attic media platform is the driving force behind Outernational Days, says, "the second edition of the festival will present a series of thematic DJ sets, artist talks, panels, art installations, workshops, debates, documentary movie screenings and lectures around the Outernational concept."

The event will take place from July 7-9 with the assistance of Romania's National Cultural Fund and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia. Full details can be found here. You can read our review of last year's first edition here.
