Radiohead – Hail To The Thief
I can honestly say that I've never bought one of Radiohead's records and thought, '...meh'. I've been a fan since I was a kid, back in the 'Creep' days. But when I'm in the car and feel like putting Radiohead on, more often than not it'll be this one. Across the board, there is almost no song where my enthusiasm dips from beginning to end. There are certain things in there that I think are more beautiful than any of their other music. But not exaggeratedly so.

They're one of the few groups who've always put out brilliant work, so finding favourites or even saying this is 'better' is kind of ridiculous. I don't know if other people have this experience of my music but when I listen to certain songs, I hear the influence of Thom Yorke's phrasing and melodic sensibility come through. To me that's quite obvious and I hate being obvious, but fuck it!
