Algiers have remixed the new single from Depeche Mode, ‘Where’s The Revolution’, and you can check it out above.
The Atlanta band have taken the distinctly Depeche Mode stomp of the original and eked out even more synth-y goodness, bringing out the original’s motivational message even further. The remix is one of a number that the band have commissioned for the lead single from their upcoming album, Spirit, which is out on March 17.
The full remix package, which contains further re-workings by Pearson Sound, Simian Mobile Disco, Ewan Pearson and more, will be released on April 29. Spirit marks the band’s first new material in four years, and was produced by Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford. Depeche Mode will tour Europe extensively through the summer in support of the album and you can find the list of dates here. You can also read our recent track-by-track review of the new album here.
