Berlin will play host to Free! Music this April which will see a number of concerts, performances, talks and films take place.
Among the highlights of the programme are a presentation of Patrick Frank’s audio drama and composition piece Freiheit which questions Western notions of freedom, a performance of some of Harry Patch’s compositions by Ensemble Musikfabrik and a concert by Belgian-Congolese rapper Baloji.
The event itself aims to look at traditional concepts of freedom within music inviting artists from across the world to share ideas as well as their work. It runs from April 6-9 at Berlin’s House Of The World Cultures. You can find more information here.
