The Cosmic Dead have announced a new album, entitled Psych Is Dead, set for release in April. You can check out a teaser trailer above.

The trailer offers a very small insight on what fans might expect from the album, soundtracked by walls of scuzzy feedback. The album will be released via Riot Season and marks the band's sixth full-length. The album, the label says, was the result of "a few days spent recording in a sweaty Sardinian kitchen overlooking the Mediterranean Sea".

Psych Is Dead is out on April 21 and the band will play Liverpool's Wrong Fest on April 22) and Safe As Milk in Prestatyn on April 23. Further tour dates will follow in May at Brighton's Green Door Store, London's Raw Power and Leeds' Karma Fest.
