Dutch Uncles have shared a new track called 'Oh Yeah' and you can check it out above right now.

A cheery slice of alt-pop, the track is the second to be revealed from their upcoming album Big Balloon. 'Oh Yeah' also features backing vocals from Everything Everything and Stealing Sheep.

"As soon as you are back to emotional zero, BAM! Opportunity knocks," says lead vocalist Duncan Wallis of the track. "Perhaps not in the way you thought it would, but a connection all the same, and the realisation genuinely carefree times are right there in your palm."

Composer Robin Richards adds: "As well as aiming to write the fastest Dutch Uncles song to date, I wanted to experiment with subtle key changes guided by erratic synth stabs, contrasted with legato string lines."

Big Balloon itself is set to tackle a variety of subjects such as "austerity cuts, therapy, fried chicken, paranoia and coming to terms with loneliness," while taking influence from records such as David Bowie's Low, Kate Bush's The Red Shoes and a whole host of albums that the band heard from their parents growing up.

The band will tour through February and March taking in shows in Manchester, Nottingham, London, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton and more. You can check all the details here. Big Balloon is out on February 17 via Memphis Industries.
