Flowdan releases his new album, entitled Disaster Piece, next week and ahead of that, you can now listen to ‘No Way Out’, taken from the album and also featuring the vocals on Animai, above.
The track follows on from the mighty ‘Horror Show Style’ which also features on the album which contains contributions from original Roll Deep members Manga and Tinchy Stryder.
"Calling the album ‘masterpiece’ would have been a liberty," says Flowdan. "I feel like I’m coming from disaster. I witnessed disaster from a needlepoint. It just felt like it fitted." Speaking of his base of Tower Hamlets, he says: "Nearly everything has been demolished and rebuilt in that area, except for a few buildings and [Balfron Tower, which features on the album’s cover] is one of them. I like it because it reminds me of times and situations from my childhood."
