tQ favourites Matmos are set to make an appearance on this Thursday's edition of the 'Late Junction' show on BBC Radio 3 via a collaboration alongside the improvisational 'anti-choir' Juxtavoices. You can check out a little preview of what they got up to via the video above.

The singers provide accompaniment to Matmos' ongoing project based around their new album, Ultimate Care II, which sees them sampling a selection of washing machines to create music. Above, you can check out what happened behind the scenes and what went into putting the project together. In the video, the group also explain that they have flown a washing machine to various locations around the world including Berlin for a show at Berghain.

The results of the collaboration will air this Thursday night from 11pm on BBC Radio 3.
