David Byrne, Vince Staples, Trent Reznor and more petition Congress in move against YouTube

A number of musicians are petitioning the US government over uploads of their music to YouTube.

Among those who have signed a petition requesting better digital copyright laws are David Byrne, Paul McCartney, Vince Staples, Trent Reznor, Yoko Ono, Pusha T and many more. The petition has also been signed by various organisations such as ASCAP and calls upon Congress to review the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in order to protect artists’ music from illegal uploads to streaming sites such as YouTube.
