Stream of band performing live and raffle form part of the streaming event at record stores

Details have emerged of Radiohead’s ‘worldwide streaming event’ planned across record stores this Friday.

As FACT reports, the band say that the event will include “an exclusive day long audio stream, competitions, instructional artworks and more” but one record store in London has gone one step further and revealed some information on the prizes that will be on offer to those in attendance.

The event will involve a stream of a “very special” two-hour live set taking in songs from A Moon Shaped Pool as well as old favourite while there will also be prints on display by longtime artistic collaborator Stanley Donwood - many of which have been showcased on the band’s Instagram account.

There will be a raffle which fans can only sign up for at the participating record store. Among them are a Trumpton-style figurine in the vein of those used in the video for the band’s ‘Burn The Witch’. Other winners will receive original screenprints by Donwood created for the album while there will also be original 35mm celluloid print of Paul Thomas Anderson’s video for ‘Daydreaming’ up for grabs.
