Dead Can Dance Albums Set For Reissues

Duo set to reissue all eight of their studio albums

Despite lengthy periods of inactivity over the years, Dead Can Dance have continued to release new music and tour mostly since their founding in 1981 by duo Brendan Parry and Lisa Gerrard. Now they are set to begin a reissue campaign of all eight of their studio albums.

It will start on July 8 with the reissue of their first three albums – that’s their self-titled debut, Spleen And Ideal and Into The Labyrinth. Those albums will all be made available individually by 4AD, with whom the band have released much of their output, or as part of a three-album bundle. The reissue plan will eventually finish with their last album, 2012’s Anastasis. You can pre-order them here and have a listen of ‘Yulunga’ taken from 1993’s Into The Labyrinth above.
