Ian MacKaye will be taking part in a Q&A at Restless Natives Festival in Glasgow next month.

The Fugazi frontman will answer questions via Skype from a radio station in Washington, following a screening of Instrument, a 1999 collaboration between New York-based filmmaker Jem Cohen and the band which documents them in live performances and interviews.

The screening is scheduled for 7:30pm on Thursday, May 12 at the African and Caribbean Centre as part of the festival. Tickets are available at the Restless Natives website.

A new seven-day festival taking place across the east-end of Glasgow from May 9-15, Restless Natives will feature live music from, amongst others, Ghostface Killah, Tim Hecker and Rollo Tomasi, as well as film screenings, live comedy and various independent ventures.
