Producer shares 21-minute opening track from new album; listen below

With the release of the new album from Brian Eno fast approaching, he has now shared the album’s title track online - you can listen to it below.

The track opens the album and comes in at 21 minutes. It also features sung vocals from Eno himself.

“The piece started as an Ambient work intended for a multi channel sound installation in Stockholm, but during the making of it I discovered that I could now sing a low C - which happens to be the root note of the piece,” says Eno. From that point the work turned into an unusual kind of song...a type I've never made before where the vocal floats free, untethered to a rhythmic grid of any kind.” Warp will release The Ship on April 29.
