Diagonal producer collaborates with Belgium-based sound artist

Simon Pomery, otherwise known as Diagonal artist Blood Music, has contributed to a project called ‘Lunalia’ which dates back to 2012 and sees two people come together to collaborate on sound art.

Working alongside the project’s co-creator, Maja Jantar, on the fifth installment of the series, Pomery is working on sounds every night for a month to develop music that co-exists with Jantar’s voice. With the project originally conceived and developed in 2012 by Jantar and co-creator Angela Rawlings, ‘Lunalia’’s concept is simple: “two bodies/voices, exploring sounds, languages, writings and noises. Recording every night during the course of one moon cycle - here from full moon to full moon.”

The works of Pomery and Jantar, which you can hear above across seven pieces, have been superimposed and stitched together following the completion of Pomery’s musical creations. You can check out more from the ‘Lunalia’ project as new pieces are released here.
