James Mason – 'Sweet Power, Your Embrace'
That album was a bit of an enigma – this came out in 1977 and was really popular but nobody could really find it. But 'Sweet Power' became really popular in the clubs when it surfaced in 1981. On one of my record-buying trips to New York I found an uber rare 7" of this. I don't own £5,000 copies of northern soul records, but I do have seriously rare 12"s and funk records.
