This Friday sees the release of the new album from Cloak Of Altering, one of the many various offshoots of Dutch black metallers and tQ favourites Gnaw Their Tongues. Manifestation will be released through the Crucial Blast label and ahead of its release you can listen to it in full above right now.
Maurice de Jong of Gnaw Their Tongues, otherwise known as Mories, returns to the project for this new album following on from 2014’s storming Plague Beasts for seven tracks that promise “slightly less chaotic monstrosity” than might usually be expected from the band on what is their fourth album. Coil, Bong-Ra, Venetian Snares and classic Nordic black metal are all name-checked as reference points on the album though so don’t expect anything too tame.
