Blackest Ever Black-affiliated artist remixes Berlin based duo; listen to the track below

Berlin label Portals Editions is currently gearing up to follow on from their second release, a self-titled record from drum and electronics duo Gainstage with a pair of remixes from Cut Hands and Orphan Swords. Above, you can have a listen of the former’s remix of ‘Obsidian Organ’, a track taken from the album.

The self-titled album was originally released in August and described by the Portals Editions label asa record “evoking the spirits of the Earth using modern technology”. Cut Hands, meanwhile, turns the original into a heavily percussive, brooding cut littered with shearing synths and an outwardly ominous affection. It’s out this Friday (October 23) and can be pre-ordered here.
