With Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland each pursuing respective solo projects, it has been assumed that their Hype Williams project has been retired, with no new joint music from the pair having surfaced in a number of years. Today, however, a new track appeared on their Soundcloud page and you can listen to it above.

Titled 'Distance' there's no clear indication of when the track, which is punctuated by looping harps and faint, underlying sub-bass, was produced and recorded. It's available as a free download from their Soundcloud account and was uploaded with the tag 'ForBAM' suggesting that it is a tribute to the late Hippos In Tanks-founder Barron Machat, who died earlier this year. The pair released music through Hippos In Tanks as well as Hyperdub.
