Deluxe edition of band's 2013 album will feature six previously unreleased tracks

Arcade Fire have announced details of a deluxe edition of their 2013 album Reflektor which will feature five previously unreleased songs as well as an unreleased remix by Dennis Bovell.

These tracks will be released digitally on September 25 in addition to the original double album itself. They will also receive a separate cassette-only release as The Reflektor Tapes on October 16. Among the new tracks are ‘Get Right’ and ‘Crucified Again’, both featured in live shows during their Reflektor tour of 2014, and they will receive a 7” single release also. The Reflektor Tapes, a documentary captured during the band’s world tour in 2013 and 2014 will be released to cinemas from September 23.

In a recent interview with The Independent, Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler said that the launch of the streaming service Tidal, in which he has a stake, was “poorly managed”. He put this down to major labels saying that “they dictated that Tidal has to cost $20. The major label music industry has completely ruined every aspect of their business.”
