Dean Blunt has uploaded the latest in a string of standalone online releases this morning in the form of a track called ’The Ether’, which you can listen to above.
Uploaded, as ever, to a YouTube channel called ‘pollyjacobsen’, the instrumental track is accompanied by visuals taken from Prime Suspect 2. A track of two halves, strings figure throughout recalling moments on Black Metal and The Redeemer, Blunt’s last two full-length albums. The first half also features a simple drum loop much like those on Black Metal, while the second half of the track is an entirely beetles construction.
