Cameron Stallones, better known by his working title Sun Araw, now known as a part of the Sun Araw Band’s reshuffle S. Araw “TRIO” XI, will be taking his experimental electronica on tour in September. Dates include a stopover at Tilburg’s Incubate Festival alongside Mercury Rev, Cabaret Voltaire and The Melvins. Above is a video, in collaboration with Swedish visual artist AUJIK, put together to accompany the release of new album Gazebo Effect which came out last week.

The album is fabled to be the result of an accidental sowing of “a garden of ‘non-dimensional’ objects”, with the album itself described as “a 2xLP nocturnal stroll into the depths of the garden, its upper lawns and outbuildings”. The parallactic difficulties of such a garden therefore necessitate the presence of a gazebo, and so the Gazebo Effect is the way in which we can observe Stallones’ musical meanderings.

The shows come as part of an on-going collaboration with AUJIK who was responsible for ‘Processional’, the teaser for the band’s upcoming video and will be providing visual accompaniment to the album on the upcoming tour. Sun Araw will also play a two-day Cafe Oto residency on September 20 and 21 with the Sun Araw Band playing live, accompanied by a number of guests. For tickets and more details, click here.
