AnD last year released debut album Cosmic Microwave Background comprising a selection of dancefloor-focussed and experimental techno offerings. Now, they have commissioned a selection of remixes to be released across two EPs. Above is the first chance to check the Sleeparchive remix of ‘Power Spectrum’ before its release on the first of the two EPs on June 15, via Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe label.
The remix takes the original’s modular, abrasive stylings and turns them up even more, offering a pounding assault on the eardrums. Also featured on the first of two EPs are remixes from Zeitgeber and O/H, while the second EP, set for release on June 29, will feature versions of AnD album tracks from Justin K Broadrick (under his JK Flesh persona) and Black Rain.
